I did my Trinity Cert. TESOL in London. Afterwards I moved to Seville in Spain to teach English there. When I arrived, I realised that I was better equipped to teach than a number of my new colleagues who had trained elsewhere. The Careers Service at Oxford TEFL was my life-line to finding a job here in Prague! I met with Sinéad shortly before finishing the course and she looked over my CV and made a few suggestions on how I could improve it to make myself more marketable, she then plastered it all over Prague! I found the course to be a very good platform to build on, in terms of my English teaching career. The course is intense, but I was warned beforehand that it would be. I have learned so much and now I feel confident that I can teach students from all backgrounds, with varying needs, the English language.
