Teaching Pronunciation course (old)

Who is this course for?

This course is aimed at teachers who want to improve their knowledge and practice in teaching pronunciation. It is excellent preparation if you are interested in taking the Trinity Dip TESOL course. 

What will you do on the course?

The course is designed to take about 30 hours and you can do it over three or six weeks. You will complete three modules covering a range of topics. You will read articles, blogs and watch videos and then discuss the content with your tutor via forum discussions and live tutorials. For each module you have to complete an assignment. You can choose from a range of activities to suit your situation and experience.

How will this course help me develop?

As well as giving you a thorough background knowledge on all areas of phonology it will help you integrate pronunciation into your lessons in a more natural, effective way. If you already have some experience this course will make you an expert in this area and you will be equipped to lead training sessions on pronunciation and help other developing teachers around you to improve how they teach pronunciation. You will also feel more confident about designing your own materials and activities to teach pronunciation.
