It was hard work but very rewarding especially the close friendships you make with others on your course. The tutors really are incredibly supportive at every step along the way. Careerwise, it gave me a lot more confidence especially when it came to doing teacher training, materials development and mentoring work…

What I liked most about the course were the hands on activities, peer teaching, debates and of course the pub quizzes.... There was a good balance between theory and practice, and we were encouraged to draw from our own experience and to become more self-critical in the classroom. The Diploma has definitely opened new doors for me professionally, leading on to teacher training, materials writing and a senior position in a language academy.
