Our school in London

The course in London is run in collaboration with Bloomsbury International which is an independent British Council accredited English language and teacher training school situated in the ideal location for student life in London; tranquil, leafy Bloomsbury. This is the heart of literary London and home to the British Museum but still just walking distance from the vibrant, fashionable West End, Covent Garden, Oxford Street shopping and London's famous parks.

The school is a perfect mix of the old and the new, occupying a beautiful historic, Georgian building but with the latest 21st century comfort and technology, including high speed wireless internet access and three separate computer rooms with 70 Pcs. Our training courses are taught by a team of dedicated, enthusiastic Diploma qualified trainers who draw from a wide range of teaching, training and management experience gained both in the UK and overseas.


5-week Course

Our course in London is five weeks, providing trainees with more time for reflection and assimilation of material and methodology as well as for researching and writing up assignments. As in our other destinations uur careers advisor is on hand throughout the course to advise trainees about teaching positions locally and all over the world. Your teaching practice will be with mixed nationality groups of adult students.
There are also extra elective components added to the end of the course allowing trainees a more in depth look at the areas of teaching Business English and Teaching Young learners. Therefore it equips the trainees with the essential tools they need to secure a good job in the EFL world. Our careers advisor is on hand throughout the course to advise trainees about teaching positions in the countries of their choice.

Accommodation

For those trainees that are in need of accommodation during the course we have a wide range of choices to suit their requirements and budget. Our Host Families, Flat Share, Student Residences & Hotels are all provided by partner agencies who are specialists in providing a high standard of accommodation inspected to British Council standards. Accommodation is conveniently located on the main transport links to the school, so trainees are never more than 30 minutes journey time from the school whether they choose from our Central or Outer options.
