Trinity Cert TESOL—Terms & Conditions of Enrolment

Please note that enrolment on our courses is subject to the following terms and conditions:

  1. Deposits are non-refundable.
  2. The balance of course fees must be paid no later than 15 working days before the first day of the course. Should the balance not reach us on time you will automatically be placed on a reserve list and risk losing your place if someone pays in full before you do. There will be no right to a refund of your deposit.
  3. If you postpone the starting date of your Trinity Cert TESOL course giving:
    1. More than 4 weeks notice—no penalty. The deposit will be valid for a future course. The course must be completed within one year of its postponement.
    2. Less than 4 weeks notice—you will forfeit your original deposit which must be paid again. If any other payments have been made, that money will be valid for a future course. The course must be completed within one year of its postponement.
  4. If you cancel the Trinity Cert TESOL course:
    1. More than 4 weeks before the course starts—full refund of balance (not of deposit)
    2. Between 2 and 4 weeks before the course starts—50% refund of balance (not of deposit)
    3. Less than 2 weeks before the course starts—0% refund
  5. The place on any course and fees paid cannot be transferred to another person.
  6. Payments for extension courses are non-refundable. Postponements of extension courses are possible giving no less than 1 week notice. No penalty will be applied in these cases. If the extension course is postponed it must be completed within one year of its postponement.
  7. Oxford TEFL cannot be held responsible for loss or theft of personal belongings.
  8. We reserve the right to cancel a course up to 2 weeks before the start date. In this case your full fees will be refunded (including deposit).

Please note that enrolment on our courses is subject to the following terms and conditions:

  1. Deposits are non-refundable.
    1. One payment option—You pay the deposit and then the balance. The balance of course fees must be paid no later than 15 working days before the first day of the course. Should the balance not reach us on time you will automatically be placed on a reserve list and risk losing your place if someone pays in full before you do. There will be no right to a refund of your deposit.
    2. Four instalments option—You pay the deposit (equivalent to the first instalment) and then the next three instalments within the first full week of the 2nd, 3rd and 4th months of the course. If a payment is not made by the due date you will lose your place on the course until it is received.
  2. If you postpone the starting date of your Trinity Dip TESOL course giving:
    1. More than 2 weeks notice—no penalty. The deposit will be valid for a future course. The course must be completed within one year of its postponement.
    2. Less than 2 weeks notice—you will forfeit your original deposit which must be paid again. If any other payments have been made, that money will be valid for a future course. The course must be completed within one year of its postponement.
  3. If you cancel the Trinity Dip TESOL course:

Diploma LTCL examinations

Unit 1 and Unit 2 exams can be taken in May, August or November. Unit 3 and 4 exams in May or August according to your course schedule. The examination requesting form is available online in our Moodle and needs to be sent to us two months in advance of the exam date. You will receive a reminder to send us the form in time. Entries received up to four weeks before the exam date will be subject to a surcharge of 50%. Entries received fewer than four weeks (28 days) before the examination will not be accepted.

  1. Unit 4 fees:
    1. If a candidate fails the internal assessment only then the fee above applies.
    2. If a candidate fails all the other sections in Unit 4 then the full fee applies.
  2. Unit 2 fees: If a candidate fails on one of the sections in part 2 then the relevant section fee above applies.
  3. Units 1 and 3: Candidates have to pay the full fee to resit these exams.
  4. Trinity reserves the right to change fees without further notification.
  5. If an applicant postpones any Unit of the examinations after the exam request form has been submitted, he/she will be declared absent and will have to pay the full Trinity fees for that exam again.
