Why is validation important?
We think it is important for you to do a credible TEFL program like the Trinity Cert TESOL (or the Cambridge CELTA---both programs are equally well-respected) which is recognised by employers around the world. While an unaccredited course may also provide good training, the reputation of the training center may well be limited to one city, region or country.
What are the advantages of a Trinity-validated course?
The Trinity CertTESOL and DipTESOL are independently moderated by Trinity representatives. This means that the quality of the training you'll receive meets the highest of standards - wherever in the world you do your course. As a result, over the years, the Trinity stamp of approval has come to be trusted by TEFL employers everywhere.
This has also led to the Cert TESOL being accepted by the British Council as an initial TESOL or TEFL qualification, and the Dip TESOL as a full TEFL Qualifying qualification, for teachers in its accredited teaching organisations in the UK and in its own teaching operations overseas.
The Cert TESOL also gains you credits towards degree programmes offered by the Open University in the UK, while the Dip TESOL gives the holder credits towards MA-type level 7 qualifications (read more).
